It is three months later and two polling firms, Ipsos Synovate and Infotrak have done surveys that show that by and large the media is the most trusted institution.

A refuge for regional journalists
At the center, Internews trains and mentors journalists working in the Rift Valley region. The journalists also use the facility to make free calls to the sources of their stories and to produce stories for different media.
