Hoffman was instrumental in galvanizing support for a rapid response program by Internews in Kenya to assist journalists grappling with the post election violence in 2007/8. He is the author of “The Dead Hand: The Untold Story of the Cold War Arms Race and Its Dangerous Legacy”. He is currently writing a book on the ICT revolution and journalism, which features a chapter on Kenyan initiatives. Read Hoffman’s post, Kenya’s Second Chance, here:
