Mutunga urges Kenyans to defend gains from Constitution
Chief Justice Willy Mutunga has said the Constitution must be protected because Kenyans had paid the price paid for democracy to flourish in the country. He said the efforts made in the struggle to reform the constitution could not be wished away hence the need to protect it from mutilation. Mutunga is the president of the Supreme Court before which the Coalition of Reforms and Democracy has filed a petition to challenge the declaration of Jubilee presidential candidate Uhuru Kenyatta winner of the March 4 presidential election.
