Compensate Us, Say Ex-Air Force Soldiers
Former military officers accused of taking part in the 1982 coup attempt want to be compensated for their unlawful dismissal from the Air Force. Major Josephat Irungu who represented them said close to 1500 soldiers were dismissed from the force without compensation. He added that many who were victimised were innocent.
