Ill Equipped Hospitals and Poor Pay Drive 4,000 Doctors Away

A survey by US-based Centre for Global Development shows that nearly 4,000 Kenyan doctors are working in foreign countries. The doctors are driven away by poor salaries and the lack of basic equipments in hospitals to counter avoidable deaths.
