Families in grief after five slayed over land
Shock engulfed Lanyiru village, Buuri location in Tigania East after a man hacked four family members to death. Another is fighting for his life at Tigania Mission Hospital. The suspect stabbed his uncle Peter M’Ampuria, 60, Susan M’Ampuria, 44, his cousins Francis Mutabari, 23 and Jamlick Mutethia, 16, killing three of them on the spot while one succumbed to injuries in the hospital. And in Kamoi location of Keiyo District, Elgeyo/Marakwet County, a family is mourning after a man was slashed to death by his uncle following a land dispute at the weekend.
