Clerics Oppose CJ over Women in Kadhi Courts

The Majlis Istaai group, an Islamic organization, has dismissed the CJ as seeking fame by saying the judiciary should employ women as magistrates in Kadhi courts. The group said Mutunga needs to seek the opinion of Islamic groups over the issue before implementing it. The clerics from the group said imposing women Kadhis has serious ramifications.
