Hiring of Appellate Judges On

JSC has advertised for positions in the Court of Appeal hence expanding the members to sit on the chamber. According to the constitution, the chamber must have no less than 12 judges. The seven successful candidates will join the existing nine appellate judges to complete the re-establishment of the judiciary in-line with the constitution. The court will mainly hear appeals from the High Court and other lower courts or tribunaks as prescribed by an Act of parliament.
