According to the National Aids Control Council (NACC) at least 44 percent of new HIV/AIDS infections in central province are among married people who engage in extramarital affairs. NACC Central region monitoring and evaluation officer James Kiiru said that the high rate of infection is a major concern in the fight against the scourge.
