Uhuru Kenyatta told ICC prosecutor Moreno Ocampo that Raila and the ODM Pentagon have political responsbility for PEV. He affirmed that Raila as the leader of ODM should not have called for mass action and instead exploit dialogue and the law courts when they felt elections had been rigged. Uhuru added that Raila could have stopped inflammatory remarks made by ODM members and this could also have abetted the violence. He categotically denied being involved in Mungiki at any point of his political carrier adding that he is on record denouncin the illegal sect.
