CIC Says 12 Laws do not Conform to Constitution

CIC has raised concern that 12 legislations do not conform to the letter and spirit of the constitution. The provisions are either in conflict or can bring conflict with the constitution. The commission has therefore proposed amendments to various clauses in the Elections Act, Political Parties Acr, The Independent Offices (appointment) Act, Commission for Revenue Allocation Act, Anti-corruption Act and the KNCHR Act among others.
