Truth Team Takes Views from Rape Victims, IDPs

The TJRC took views from victims who were sexually molested during the PEV. They told the TJRC sittings in Nakuru of how they were assaulted in front their close relatives. The victims included those who were attacked in previous clashes of 1992 and 1997. Witnesses attending the proceedings expressed fears that no efforts was made to reconcile them with residents of the areas in which they had been resettled.
