Harry Makau argues that the police reforms should address the need to have regional balance in appointments. The manner in which the police handled PEV illistrated its leaning towards the goverment that did not reflect Kenyans at large. Ethnic composition must therefore be considered when filling the positions to ensure the police are above board in discharging their duties to the nation.
