Gender Balance Haunts Police Reforms
A provision in the National Police Service Act requiring that one of the top three police commanders be a woman is a concern for the government. They are the Inspector General, the Administration Police and Regular Police, Deputy Inspector Generals. A panel to recruit the three alongside the Directorate of CID is supposed to be named soon.
