Blood to Be Used as Medicine

Stem cell technology, where the umbilical cord blood is harvested at birth and stored for future body repairs and Nanomedicine a medical technology for the manipulation of matter at the smallest possible levels are already being sampled in Kenya. Last month Kenyan researchers started the nano drug development initiative in East and Central Africa that could see Kenya start re-engineering current malaria and HIV drugs to make them more effective and revolutionary.
