Hope for TB Patients as Test Kit is Put Up

A promising and innovative diagnostic test with a new machine referred to as Gene Xpert will be able to detect drug resistant tuberculosis in less than three hours. The new test has a sensitivity rate of 90 per cent and will enable doctors detect more people with Drug resistant-TB, thus increasing the urgency to respond to challenges of the pricing and supply of the medicines.
