It appears no child is safe from pedophiles, in the last two years police say nearly 5,000 children have been defiled across the country, with the number likely being higher if unreported cases are factored in. Senior children’s officer, Kamwila Ngeke, says loose family units, poor and long prosecution processes, drug abuse and pornography among false beliefs are the major contributors to the criminal activity.
